Directed by Buho 44’s own Jurek Jablonicky and shot by Emilio Guerra, Perséfone is a short film starring Lisette Bitar Saad, Diego Calva, Itzan Escamilla, Edu Maruri and Ana Claudia Talancón slated to premiere in October 2024.
A portrait of the daily life of Perséfone, a sex worker in Mexico City. Through her grief, we see her maternal instinct present. This particular Sunday, we'll see how Perséfone's decisions and regrets intertwine.
